SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 18: The Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar organized a special health check-up camp for the residents of Abhinandan Home, an institute for the blind and school for the deaf and dumb in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Officer Srinagar.
The camp aimed to provide advanced medical care to specially abled individuals who may face challenges in accessing medical facilities.
Specialists from various departments, including Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology, provided thorough health check-ups to about 200 inhabitants. Patients received consultation, medical advice, and medication as needed.
The medical college reaffirmed its commitment to providing advanced treatment facilities to all individuals, including those with special needs.
The camp demonstrated GMC Srinagar’s dedication to reaching out to vulnerable populations and ensuring they receive the medical care they deserve.
The health camp provided a valuable opportunity for the residents of Abhinandan Home to access specialized healthcare services, which might have been challenging for them to access otherwise.
