Additionally, 1,272 flats have been approved under the Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) vertical—60 EWS flats at Bhalwal, Jammu and 304 at Chakhar Sundli, and Udhampur, where verification of beneficiaries is underway.

On financial assistance, it states: “Under PMAY-U 1.0, the government has disbursed rupees 518.29 crore in financial aid, benefiting 35,923 beneficiaries so far.” However, 3,230 beneficiaries are yet to receive their entitled assistance. Kathua district alone has received rupees 40.13 crore, followed by Jammu (Rs 36.74 crore) and Budgam (Rs 22.51 crore).
