Jammu, Oct 29: Due to continuous rain and waterlogging in the Jammu Division of Northern Railway over the past few days, many trains had to be cancelled and some had to be terminated before their destination. However, divisional officials are periodically reviewing various sections and ensuring train safety, and trains are being re-instated from time to time. In this regard, some trains are going to resume operations in the sixth phase from Jammu Division.
Details are as follows:
- Train No. 19028 (Jammu Tawi – Bandra Terminus) This train will resume operations from 03.11.2025.
- Train No. 15656 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Kamakhya) This train is being re-operated from 05.11.2025.
- Train No. 14610 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Yoganagari Rishikesh) This train is being re-operated from 01.11.25.
- Train No. 19804 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Kota) This train is being re-operated from 02.11.2025.
Speaking on the resumption of these trains, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Mr. Uchit Singhal, stated, “These trains are being reinstated after ensuring the safety and continuity of the railway tracks. These trains are being operated in the sixth phase, having previously resumed five phases of trains. Train operations in the division are gradually being normalized going forward. To avoid any inconvenience, passengers are advised to check the train schedules on the Northern Railway website or the relevant helpline numbers.”
