Remain ready to meet security challenges: Northern Army Commander to soldiers

Jammu, Nov 18: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Tuesday asked soldiers to remain ready to meet evolving security challenges.

Addressing the soldiers near Line of Control in North Kashmir, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “Continue rigorous training and embrace technological advancements to remain a future ready force capable of meeting evolving security challenges.”

Meanwhile, Army’s Jammu based spokesman said that the Northern Army Commander today visited North Kashmir to assess the anti-infiltration grid and evaluate the operational preparedness of formations deployed along the Line of Control (LoC)

“During the visit, the Army Commander interacted with troops stationed in forward areas and lauded their high level of combat readiness, indomitable spirit and consistent professional performance,” he added. (KNO)
