KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 21: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, Friday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of key financial inclusion and social security schemes being implemented across the district.
Status of progress made with respect to different schemes including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), The Building and Other Construction Workers Scheme and the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojna (PM-SYM) was discussed during the meeting.
The DC directed the concerned departments, banks to intensify awareness cum enrolment drives so that eligible population is covered at the earliest ensuring financial inclusion and social security coverage.
