Baramulla, Dec 01: The District Administration Baramulla has directed all executing agencies to obtain mandatory prior permission from the concerned Municipal Council or Committee before starting any construction-related activity within the municipal limits.
The directive were issued following the reports that some agencies have been undertaking construction, reconstruction and repair works without approval from municipal authorities, in violation of municipal laws.
Executing agencies in an issued circular have been told to strictly comply with statutory provisions and secure clearance from municipal bodies before initiating any developmental activity.
It warns that failure to follow these instructions will be viewed seriously and may invite administrative action as warranted under law—(KNO)
