Ganderbal DLIC approves 102 cases under Mission YUVA

GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 02: A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) on Mission YUVA scheme was Tuesday held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, here.

The committee, as per an official statement held detailed discussions on the cases submitted and after thorough scrutiny and evaluation unanimously approved 102 cases for financial and institutional support.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC underscored the need to promote self-employment avenues for local youth, particularly those belonging to under-privileged and marginalized communities.

He instructed all concerned departments to ensure the timely disbursement of financial assistance and to extend full facilitation to all beneficiaries approved under the scheme, so that they are able to initiate their respective livelihood activities without delay.

The DC directed continuous monitoring and proper mentoring to ensure the long-term sustainability of the approved ventures.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad; General Manager DIC, Lead Bank Manager, Assistant Director Employment, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI; representative from Social Welfare department.
