BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Tuesday chaired a meeting to assess the preparations for the upcoming “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” campaign, being organised as part of Good Governance Week from 19th December to 25th December.
During the meeting, the DC, as per an official statement, outlined a detailed action plan aimed at ensuring effective grievance redressal and delivery of public services at the grassroots level.
The DC directed that public grievances received during the campaign period be resolved on a priority basis, and a daily report on grievance redressal be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner’s office without fail.
Meanwhile, the Revenue Department was directed to conduct revenue grievance redressal camps in every revenue village, with special focus on resolving matters related to ‘Mutation by Inheritance’ (Virasati Intikal) and other revenue issues.
Similarly, the Police Department was instructed to organise ‘Thana Diwas’ programmes across the district to address public grievances related to law and order.
The DC also directed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Baramulla, to ensure the organisation of health camps in every tehsil during the campaign period to provide basic healthcare services and medical consultations to the public.
Further, all departments were instructed to hold special camps and seminars on good governance, aimed at creating awareness among citizens about government initiatives, service delivery mechanisms, and best practices in good governance.The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi; ADC Sopore, S.A.Raina; SDM Uri, Shubhankar Pratyush; ACD Baramulla, Chaudhary Mudasir Hussain, and other officers and officials.
