KUPWARA, DECEMBER 19: The district administration Kupwara Friday kick-started the “Sushasan Saptah- Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore 2025” campaign across all tehsils of the district with active participation of officers from various administrative and line departments.
As part of the campaign, officers of the district administration, as per an official statement, reached out directly to the doorsteps of the people, engaging with residents at the grassroots level to listen to their day-to-day issues, developmental concerns, and service delivery-related grievances.
The initiative witnessed encouraging public participation, reflecting strong community engagement in governance processes.
The campaign is aimed at strengthening good governance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsiveness of the administration. Through this outreach programme, the administration seeks to bridge the gap between the government and citizens by facilitating on-the-spot grievance redressal, identification of development gaps, and timely intervention in service delivery mechanisms.
During the interactions, officers recorded public feedback related to key sectors such as infrastructure development, power supply, water availability, healthcare, education, social welfare schemes, roads, and other essential public services. Issues requiring immediate attention were flagged for prompt resolution, while others were forwarded to the concerned departments for necessary action.
The Sushasan Saptah–Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore 2025 campaign aims to promote citizen-centric governance with the active involvement and support of Central and State Government departments, ensuring that government schemes and benefits reach the intended beneficiaries efficiently and effectively.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner said that Special camps have been organized across tehsils and other designated venues to observe the Good Governance Week starting Friday. He said that the aim of the campaign is to saturate various schemes including centrally sponsored schemes and redressal of public grievances. He appealed for maximum participation of the people for getting their issues resolved at their doorsteps.
