BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 25 : Under the Directions of District Social Welfare Officer Bandipora, an awareness programme was organised by SANKALP-Hub in collaboration with Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) with the objective of Empowering women through self-employment and entrepreurial opportunities.
The program aimed to create awareness about schemes and support systems available for income generation and sustainable livelihoods.
Officials from SANKALP-Hub and KVIB provided detailed information on KVIB schemes including PMEGP, Khadi-based activities, Skill development programs and financial assistance.
Emphasis was laid on encouraging women to take up micro-enterprises, home based industries and group based economic activities to promote Financial Assistance.
The participants included women from Self-help groups, aspiring entrepreneurs and local residents.
The program successfully enhanced awareness and motivated women to actively participate in income-generation activities contributing to their overall socio-economic empowerment.
