Srinagar, Dec 27: Superstar Salman Khan has set the internet on fire with the release of the much-awaited teaser of his upcoming patriotic film, ‘Battle of Galwan.’

The teaser, unveiled on his 60th birthday, features the powerful line ‘Maut se kya darna, use hi toh aana hai’ delivered by Salman Khan in a pivotal moment, with encapsulating the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers in the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.

As per the details, the short but gripping teaser showcases Salman in the role of an Indian Army officer, shot in mountain terrains and high-altitude battle zones highlights intense action sequences and a stirring background score that mirrors the spirit of the nation’s defenders.

The teaser’s release will evoke strong emotions across Jammu and Kashmir, where the Galwan Valley stands as a symbol of India’s bravery. It is worth mentioning, KNO has earlier reported, that Salman Khan began shooting for Battle of Galwan jn Ladakh earlier this year.

The actor then arrived in the region to film key sequences for the war drama directed by Apoorva Lakhia, while the project was described as heartfelt tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives in June 2020.

As per details, in the film, Salman Khan portrays Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, who led his troops with exemplary valour during the clash and was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra, India’s second-highest wartime gallantry honour.

The film’s musical side also carries a strong emotional thread.

It’s in place to mention here that KNO had reported earlier that celebrated lyricist Sameer Anjaan has penned a “new youth anthem” for Galwan, a song that celebrates the courage and unity of India’s young generation.

Anjaan, while speaking in Kashmiri, said the anthem reflects the same humanistic ideals of bravery and belonging that define the film’s spirit.

Moreover, produced under the Salman Khan Films banner, Battle of Galwan also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role and is slated for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026—(KNO)
