Srinagar, Dec 29: In a first, Srinagar will have its first ‘State of the Art School’ by 2027 for the students with special needs.

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo said that the social welfare department of Jammu and Kashmir is executing some important projects in district Srinagar.

“State of the Art School is an important project for the specially-abled-students particularly to those who are visually impaired and those with hearing disabilities,” he said.

Labroo said that all the concerned departments are working together in coordination so that the specially-abled-students will get the ‘Abhinandan State of the Art School’ in Srinagar at earliest. “We are ensuring quality work without any delay for this school.”

“The construction of the school will be completed by the year 2027. We will try to complete this project before the scheduled timeline because this school is meant not only for the students of Srinagar but for the whole Kashmir valley for these special students,” he said—(KNO)
