SHOPIAN JANUARY, 5: On the occasion of Guru Purub, the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Dr Zakir Hussain Faaz, Monday visited Gurudwara Sahib, Bongam, Shopian on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Shopian.
During the visit, The ADC, as per an official statement, inspected the arrangements made for the observance of the holy occasion and reviewed facilities including cleanliness, drinking water, power supply, security and overall management.
He interacted with the Gurudwara management and concerned and stressed the need for ensuring proper facilities and a smooth experience for the devotees.
The district administration has put in place necessary arrangements to ensure the peaceful and smooth observance of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary, maintaining harmony and public convenience.
The ADC extended greetings to the people of the district on the occasion and prayed for peace and harmony of the people.
