DDC Baramulla reviews works under District Capex Budget 2025-26

BARAMULLA, JANUARY 07: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Wednesday chaired a review meeting at the DC Office meeting hall to assess the progress of works being executed under various components of the District Capex Budget 2025–26.

During the meeting, the DDC, as per an official statement, conducted a detailed, sector-wise assessment of the progress on deliverables outlined in the 2025–26 district CAPEX budget, covering all concerned departments such as R&B, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Education, and others.

The DDC was apprised by the department heads of the sector-wise status of allotted and tendered works, including their progress and completion across various departments.

After conducting a department-wise review of work progress, Minga Sherpa impressed upon the concerned heads to adopt all necessary measures to accelerate the pace of execution.

Meanwhile, The DDC called upon the department heads to strengthen inter-departmental coordination to promptly address bottlenecks and issues that could hinder the smooth implementation of developmental initiatives.

The DDC further emphasized strict adherence to timelines for achieving the developmental goals of 2025–26 and stressed the need for judicious and timely utilization of funds within the current quarter.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Superintending Engineer R&B, Chief Education Officer, besides all officers of concerned departments.
