Principal Secretary inspects SDRF building construction

Doda, Jan 10: Principal Secretary Home Department, Chandraker Bharti on Saturday visited Doda and inspected the ongoing construction of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) building.

During the visit, Chandraker Bharti reviewed the progress of the work and took stock of the facilities being developed for strengthening the disaster response and preparedness in the district. He also interacted with the officers and staff of the SDRF unit, appreciating their dedication and role in emergency management and rescue operations.

The Principal Secretary directed the concerned executing agencies and district administration to expedite the remaining work. He asked them to ensure that construction of SDRF building is completed at the earliest, so that the force is provided with adequate infrastructure and operational facilities.

Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, along with other civil and police officers, accompanied the Principal Secretary during the inspection.
