Udhampur, Jan 10: Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Udhampur, has successfully concluded the 5th batch of the Management Development Programme (MDP-V) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance RAMP initiative of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

As many as 20 participants were registered for the programme, out of which 18 candidates successfully completed the training.

The batch witnessed strong female participation, with 14 women entrepreneurs taking part, reflecting growing inclusivity and enhanced engagement of women in entrepreneurial development across the district.

The weeklong comprehensive training programme featured expert-led sessions by professionals from successful industries, financial institutions, the marketing sector, academia and other relevant domains. The sessions provided valuable insights into the latest business regulations, market practices and enterprise management strategies.

In addition, simulation-based business games and practical exercises were conducted, enabling participants to gain hands-on experience and strengthen experiential business learning.

The programme was designed to strengthen business management competencies, enhance operational efficiency and build resilient entrepreneurial capabilities.

Participants were equipped with practical skills and strategic insights aimed at supporting sustainable enterprises and contributing to the growth of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

JKEDI continues to play a pivotal role in promoting entrepreneurship and empowering aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through structured capacity-building programmes across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
