The rally, as per an official statement,   flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh from the DC Office Complex was organised to sensitise road users to the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmet, avoiding over-speeding and drunken driving and promoting responsible driving habits. Participants carried placards and banners highlighting key road safety messages and traffic symbols under the theme “Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha.”

ARTO, Kapil Deol; DySP Headquarters, Krishan Rattan, officials from the District Administration, Motor Vehicles Department and civil society members attended the flag off event. A large number of bike riders participated in the rally, strictly adhering to all prescribed safety measures.
