The marathon was organised with the objective of promoting physical fitness, encouraging active participation among youth and officials, and strengthening the spirit of nationalism and unity.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Syed Faheem Bihaqi, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, besides other officers and officials, were present on the occasion.

Officials of the Youth Services and Sports Department, including Physical Education Lecturers, Physical Education Masters, Physical Education Teachers, Rehbar-e-Khel and National Youth Corps, actively participated in the event. Their enthusiastic participation reflected a strong sense of teamwork, discipline, and commitment to national values.
