ARC Jammu hoists National Flag

 Jammu, Jan 26: Additional Resident Commissioner (ARC), Jammu and Kashmir government, Anil Sharma Monday unfurled the National flag on the eve of 77th Republic Day at Jammu and Kashmir House here.

 

A contingent of J&K Armed Police presented the guard of honour on the occasion.

 

The ceremonial function was attended by all the officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir posted at New Delhi.

 

A colourful cultural programme showcasing rich heritage of Jammu and Kashmir was also presented, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

On the occasion, the officials who had rendered exemplary services in the field of administration were also felicitated.

 

Later, the Additional Resident Commissioner interacted with the officers and officials of J&K House and extended his greetings on the occasion of Republic Day.

A similar function was also organized at J&K House, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, marking the national celebration with equal enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
