BARAMULLA, JANUARY 28: In view of the launch of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Wednesday chaired a review meeting at the main meeting hall of DC office Baramulla to assess preparedness and ensure saturation of key performance indicators (KPIs) under the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) and Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).

During the meeting, the DC, as per an official statement, reviewed sector-wise performance on critical indicators related to health, nutrition, sanitation, education and livestock vaccination.

Detailed deliberations were held on indicators including Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Days, functionality of girls’ toilets in schools, supplementary nutrition coverage under ICDS, operational efficiency of Anganwadi Centres, availability of drinking water and sanitation facilities, and vaccination of bovine animals.

The DC issued clear directions to all the concerned departments to ensure saturation of 5 KPIs under ADP and 6 KPIs under ABP during the campaign period ending on 14th April 2026, stressing that the Abhiyan must translate into tangible improvements at the grassroots level.

Minga Sherpa specifically directed departments to submit a detailed, time-bound action programme outlining activities to be undertaken during the three-month period aimed at achieving saturation of each indicator.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, SDM Pattan sectoral officers from Health, Education, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Rural Development and other concerned departments.
