ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 11: To accelerate on-ground implementation and strengthen district-level monitoring under Mission YUVA, a day-long training programme for YUVA DOOTs was held by the District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC), Anantnag Wednesday at Khanabal.

With special focus on operational components of Mission YUVA, the program, as per an official statement, was organised under the supervision of Career Counselling Officer, Shazlia Qureshi and Employment Officer, Rayees Iqbal.

The first session highlighted the need for mobilisation of applications, encouraging women entrepreneurs and SHG-based enterprises, along with targeted outreach in low-performing blocks and urban wards.

Credit linkage and pendency management through systematic follow-up of pending cases, coordination with banking institutions, and proper tracking mechanisms for timely disposal featured in the second session.

Under the “Beyond Sanctions” campaign, the importance of sustainability and support of beneficiaries through capacity building, output monitoring, and effective grievance redressal were discussed. Seller onboarding in urban centres, facilitating beneficiary registration on ONDC and other e-commerce platforms to enhance market access and sales potential were elaborated in detail.

To support structured field execution, training material was shared with the district teams and they were advised to adhere to timelines and ensure coordinated implementation of the flagship Mission YUVA initiative.
