The India AI Impact Summit 2026, inaugurated at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, is a resounding declaration of India’s emergence as a global leader in shaping the future of artificial intelligence. With over 2.5 lakh registrations from across the world, the sheer scale of participation is itself a testament to the nation’s energy, ambition, and readiness to lead in the most consequential technological transition of our time. The collaboration with international partners, including 13 country pavilions, underscores India’s role as a bridge between advanced innovation and population-scale deployment, serving the Global South and beyond. The parallel pre-summit focus on scalable AI for climate-resilient agriculture highlights the government’s dedication to ensuring that technology reaches the grassroots – the farmer, the small entrepreneur, the marginalised. This is innovation with purpose, inclusion, and impact. India is not just participating in the global AI conversation; it is convening it, shaping it, and leading it towards responsible, inclusive outcomes.
