Srinagar, Feb 24: Participants and guests arriving for the Khelo India Games were accorded a warm reception at Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday, with authorities making coordinated arrangements to facilitate their smooth arrival.

Officials said that dedicated teams were deployed at the arrival area to manage the influx of athletes, officials and dignitaries. Special assistance counters, streamlined baggage handling and guided support were arranged to ensure hassle-free transit from the airport.

An official said that all logistical and security measures had been put in place well in advance in coordination with the local administration and event organisers.

“We are pleased to welcome the participants and guests of the Khelo India Games. All necessary arrangements have been made to ensure their arrival is smooth and comfortable,” the official said.

In a post on X, Srinagar Airport extended its best wishes to the participants and organisers, expressing hope for the grand success of the event.

“Participants and guests of the Khelo India Games arriving at Srinagar Airport were received with coordinated arrangements at the arrival area. Wishing everyone a successful event ahead.@kheloindia,” the airport said—(KNO)
