ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 26: As part of the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Cultural Unit Kashmir, and District Information Centre Anantnag on Thursday organized a colorful cultural programme at Higher Secondary School Mattan.
The program aimed to create awareness about the drug abuse and sensitise the participants especially the younger generation about its drastic consequences.
On the occasion, the artists presented thematic skit and songs on NMBJK highlighting the negative effects of drugs and other contraband substances on individual lives, families, and society. Through their vibrant artistic performances and , they also talked about the remedies to combat the drug menace.
The event received appreciation from the students and staff of the institute who also shared their ideas to curb the substance abuse.
The program was also attended by officials of DIC Anantnag and local youth.
