Budgam, Feb 26: Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora Budgam on Thursday received a latest Anaesthesia Workstation, aimed at strengthening surgical facilities at the hospital.

The machine was inaugurated by MLA Chadoora Ali Mohammad Dar in the presence of Chief Medical Officer Dr Gulzar, Block Medical Officer Dr Riyaz and other concerned officials.

Officials said that with the installation of the new equipment, the hospital will be able to conduct advanced and complex surgical procedures more efficiently. The facility, they said, will further streamline services under the 24×7 FRU, where gynaecological surgeries are already being performed during night hours.

In addition to gynaecology, surgical services in ENT, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and General Surgery are expected to be strengthened with the availability of the latest anaesthesia support system.

Meanwhile, a Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) meeting was convened, during which several additional medical machines were approved for the hospital.

The MLA said that the upgradation of equipment is part of ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services for the local population—(KNO)
