Interact with officers, field personnel; call for exercising maximum restraint

Baramulla, Mar 02: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, North Kashmir Range (NKR), Maqsood-ul-Zaman and the DIG of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), visited various ‘ground zero’ in Sopore and Baramulla on Tuesday to assess the situation and review law & order arrangements on the ground.

According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) during the visit, the officers interacted with senior police officials, CRPF officers, and field personnel deployed at sensitive points. They emphasized the need to exercise maximum restraint while ensuring public safety and protection of property.

The DIGs directed officers on duty to remain vigilant, maintain close coordination between Police and CRPF, and ensure that all necessary preventive measures are taken to avert any untoward incident.

They also urged the mourners to maintain peace and cooperate with the administration in preserving harmony and normalcy across the districts. (KNO)
