KULGAM, MARCH 11: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the progress of various water supply related programmes in the district.
During the meeting, a detailed review of schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), NABARD, AMRUT 2.0 and UT Capex was conducted.
The DC, as per an official statement, assessed the status of ongoing works and directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
The meeting also reviewed activities being carried out under the ongoing Jal Mahotsav Pakwada, being observed from March 8 to March 22, aimed at promoting water conservation and awareness among the public.
The DC stressed coordinated efforts among departments to ensure successful conduct of events and enhanced community participation during the Jal Mahotsav celebrations.
The meeting was attended by JDP, Malik Suhail; Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti, Ishtiyaq Ahmad; CEO, AEEs and other officers.
