The DC was informed that 19 projects have been approved for Srinagar City under AMRUT 2.0, with work progressing in full swing and several major water supply projects nearing completion to boost and augment water supply in Srinagar District.

On the occasion, the DC conducted an in-depth review of each project, focusing on critical parameters including infrastructure quality, operational efficiency and citizen-centric outcomes. He emphasized the importance of quality execution and strict adherence to timelines to ensure that residents benefit at the earliest.

Highlighting the significance of AMRUT 2.0, the DC stated that the scheme prioritizes water security for urban areas through sustainable and modern solutions.
