ANANTNAG, APRIL 11: Member J&K Services Selection Board, Showkat Ahmad Rathe Saturday chaired a comprehensive meeting at Dak Bungalow Khanabal to review and finalize arrangements for the smooth conduct of upcoming written examination for the posts of Junior Assistant.
The meeting, as per an official statement, was attended by ACR, SDMs, DTO, CEO College Principals and their representatives, CAHO, CAO, ARTO, DySP HQ, ALC, Tehsildar Kokernag, Exam Observers, HoIs of HSSs and other concerned officials.
During the meeting, it was informed that a total of 4,796 candidates are expected to appear in the examination, which will be held at 12 centres across the district.
Detailed deliberations were held on ensuring adequate arrangements at all examination centres, including proper seating, availability of drinking water, and uninterrupted power supply. The meeting also discussed deployment of magistrates, centre superintendents, and observers besides invigilating and support staff to ensure fair and transparent conduct of the examination.
On the occasion, Member J&K SSRB stressed the importance of maintaining strict adherence to examination guidelines and SOPs and directed for ensuring proper security arrangements, including safe transportation and custody of examination material. He also emphasized effective security, surveillance and other critical measures at the examination centres.
Rather further underscored that conducting free, fair, and transparent examinations through District Administration is top priority of the Board, adding close coordination among concerned agencies is vital to ensure the same in a smooth and successful manner.
It was informed that proper training of the centre and associated staff will be held ahead of the examination.
