DPEO Kulgam presides Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision Camp at Devsar

KULGAM, APRIL 11: As part of the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Panchayat Electoral Rolls 2026, a  revision camp was organized on Saturday at Town Hall Devsar to facilitate enrolment of eligible voters and updation of electoral records.

The programme was presided over by District Panchayat Election Officer, (DPEO) Kulgam, Shahzad Alam.

Addressing the occasion, the DPEO emphasized the need for maintaining accurate and updated electoral rolls to ensure free, fair, and transparent Panchayat elections.

He urged all eligible citizens, especially those who have attained the age of 18 years as on 01-04-2026, to verify their details and ensure their names are included within the stipulated timeframe.

Among others present on the occasion were Dy-DEO Kulgam, ERO Devsar, Tehsildar Devsar, Master Trainers,Panchayat Electoral Booth Officers (PEBOs), Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Aanganwadi Workers (AWWs), and a large number of local residents.
