Girl dies after stray dog attack in Sopore

Sopore, Apr 10: An 8-year-old girl died after being attacked by a stray dog in the Seloo area of Sopore in north Kashmir on Friday, officials said.

An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the incident occurred when the minor had gone to her family land, where she was suddenly attacked by a stray dog.

He said, she sustained critical injuries in the attack while the deceased has been identified as Aiman Adnan Sheikh (08), daughter of Adnan Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Seloo, Sopore.

He added, she was rushed for medical treatment, but succumbed to her injuries.

Meanwhile, investigation have been taken up. (KNO)
