This is what happened with Rashida Begum (65) of Srinagar\u2019s Nowshera area, who was allegedly murdered on Thursday by her domestic help while her son was in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah.<\/p>\n<p>Rashida was alone at her home as her son was in Saudi Arabia for Umrah and her husband was at his shop in Lal Chowk when the domestic help allegedly hit her with a bat and later slit her throat before feeling with her mobile phone.<\/p>\n<p>An official said that the accused domestic help was later arrested after a manhunt was launched to nab him.<\/p>\n<p>Narrating the horrific incident, Rashida\u2019s son-in-law, Shafat said that she was in contact with his wife till 11 am during the day. \u201cAfter lunch, I sent the children and my wife to her house and by the time they arrived, she was lying in a pool of blood with her throat slit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI received a call from my wife regarding the incident. When I arrived, I saw the horrific scene and the police reached soon after,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>He said that her son was in Saudi Arabia for Umrah. \u201cWhen he was informed about the incident, he accessed the CCTV footage linked to his phone and helplessly watched what had happened. My father-in-law was also not present at home at the time as he was at his shop in Lal Chowk. He later returned home after being informed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, one of her neighbours said that he first heard about the incident around 4 pm and rushed to the house, where cries and chaos filled the area.
