This is a liberation from the tyranny of endless want and the anxiety of worldly competition. The Quran repeatedly redirects the believer\u2019s focus from worldly accumulation to eternal success. It reminds us that worldly life is but \u201cplay and amusement, adornment and boasting among yourselves, and competition in increase of wealth and children\u201d (57:20), a fleeting distraction. True prosperity is defined not by abundance, but by a heart at peace: \u201cAnd whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them, and provide for them from sources they could never imagine\u201d (65:2-3). This divine promise places trust in God, not in material stockpiles, at the centre of a believer\u2019s livelihood. Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was the perfect exemplar of this ethos. He (PBUH) said, \u201cLive in this world as if you are a stranger or a traveller.\u201d He (PBUH) warned against luxury and extravagance, teaching that true richness is \u201crichness of the soul\u201d. It is a practical affirmation that our hearts are attached to the Creator, not the creation.
