{"id":10512,"date":"2026-01-26T19:46:27","date_gmt":"2026-01-26T19:46:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=10512"},"modified":"2026-01-26T19:46:27","modified_gmt":"2026-01-26T19:46:27","slug":"90-roads-cleared-power-restored-post-snowfall-minister-dar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/01\/26\/90-roads-cleared-power-restored-post-snowfall-minister-dar\/","title":{"rendered":"90% roads cleared, power restored post-snowfall: Minister Dar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Baramulla, Jan 26:<\/strong> Minister Javed Dar on Monday said that Jammu and Kashmir is 90 per cent back on track post-snowfall, with roads and power restored, while the rest of the pending restoration works will be completed by tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Praising the snowfall as a blessing from the Almighty, Dar said it has ended dry water source issues and averted summer tap shortages.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Acknowledging complaints over road clearance and power disruptions, he compared J&amp;K&#8217;s response to developed nations, where operations pause briefly before full deployment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;90 per cent of major priority 1 and 2 roads have been cleared and electricity is 90 per cent restored,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dar detailed Mission Yuva&#8217;s target to support 1.37 lakh fresh entrepreneurs over the next four years, generating over 4.5 lakh employment opportunities. &#8220;These are not government jobs but self-started businesses that will employ others,&#8221; he clarified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On upcoming budget session, the minister said preparations are complete for Chief Minister&#8217;s announcements on horticulture, agriculture, family welfare, school education and skill development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the minister unfurled the national flag at Baramulla amid a large gathering of 7,000-7,500 people braving the winter chill.
