{"id":11050,"date":"2026-01-31T19:52:02","date_gmt":"2026-01-31T19:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=11050"},"modified":"2026-01-31T19:52:02","modified_gmt":"2026-01-31T19:52:02","slug":"ensure-peace-stability-in-jk-dg-crpf-directs-officers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/01\/31\/ensure-peace-stability-in-jk-dg-crpf-directs-officers\/","title":{"rendered":"Ensure peace, stability in J&#038;K: DG CRPF directs officers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Reviews operational readiness across Srinagar sector, chairs meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, Jan 31: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General G P Singh on Saturday directed officers to ensure that peace and stability are maintained in Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>According to the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO)\u00a0\u00a0 Singh arrived in Srinagar on Friday, on 2-day Kashmir visit\u00a0 and began his inspection with a visit to the 54 Battalion CRPF at Nishat.<\/p>\n<p>He was accompanied by Vitul Kumar, SDG Ops Directorate; Rajesh Kumar, ADG J&amp;K Zone; Vineet Brijlal, IG Ops Kashmir Sector; and Pawan Kumar Sharma, IG Srinagar Sector.<\/p>\n<p>At the battalion headquarters, Singh chaired an operational meeting and assessed security deployments, operational readiness, and functioning of key installations.<\/p>\n<p>The DG also visited the CRPF headquarters in Srinagar, where he reviewed the newly established Command and Control Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said he examined the security scenario in the Valley and evaluated measures taken to prevent and respond to potential threats.<\/p>\n<p>During a Sainik Sammelan at the Group Centre and 44 Battalion, Singh addressed personnel and listened to concerns regarding welfare and operational issues.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised the force\u2019s commitment to maintaining a secure and incident-free environment in the Valley and reiterated the focus on countering terrorist activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CRPF is committed to ensuring peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir. The force will continue its operations to prevent incidents and maintain security across the region,\u201d Singh said, according to officials.<\/p>\n<p>He also chaired high-level review meetings with senior CRPF officers in the Valley, discussing current deployments, operational planning, and coordination with ground commanders.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the meetings included a review of resources, communication systems, and rapid response mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>The DG praised the personnel for following operational protocols and engaging in assigned duties, while reaffirming the force\u2019s focus on maintaining a secure environment and supporting local administration.<\/p>\n<p>He assured the officers that their concerns regarding welfare and logistics would be addressed.
