KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 06: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara chaired a comprehensive review meeting Friday to assess the status of public grievances redressal handled by Revenue officers.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the DC, as per an official statement, examined the tehsil-wise status of grievances registered on the JK-SAMADHAN Portal. Concerned Tehsildars presented detailed updates on the action taken against various revenue-related grievances.<\/p>\n
The DC laid special emphasis on the quality of grievance disposal and issued firm directives to all Tehsildars for ensuring time-bound redressal of all complaints. He further instructed Tehsildars to enforce accountability on field functionaries for any delays observed without justifiable cause in the redressal process.<\/p>\n
The DC also underscored the need for intensified awareness campaigns and enhanced citizen registrations on the JK-SAMADHAN Portal, aimed at facilitating seamless grievance registration for the general public.<\/p>\n
In addition, the meeting deliberated on pendencies under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA), redressal of migrant-specific grievances, alongside progress in digitization initiatives and implementation of the SVAMITVA scheme.<\/p>\n
