{"id":11774,"date":"2026-02-09T19:39:52","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T19:39:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=11774"},"modified":"2026-02-09T19:39:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T19:39:52","slug":"speaker-orders-probe-into-use-of-microphone-by-para","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/02\/09\/speaker-orders-probe-into-use-of-microphone-by-para\/","title":{"rendered":"Speaker orders probe into \u2018use\u2019 of microphone by Para"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Srinagar, Feb 09:\u00a0<\/strong>Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather on Monday said he will investigate the alleged use of microphone by PDP MLA Waheed-ur- Rehman Para in the House.<\/p>\n<p>The Speaker made the announcement after NC legislator Altaf Ahmad Wani accused Para of using microphone.<\/p>\n<p>Rather said the Assembly Secretariat should examine the matter and that appropriate action would be taken under the Rules. \u201cI will investigate the matter,\u201d the Speaker said after Wani raised the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Wani alleged that after they pointed out Para\u2019s use of a microphone in the House, he handed it over to Muntazir Mehdi.<\/p>\n<p>The Speaker described such acts as childish, saying they undermine the dignity of the House. \u201cIt is very sad.
