BANDIPORA, FEBRUARY 17: An awareness programme was successfully organized by SANKALP-HEW Bandipora at Chandaji, a far-flung area of the district, with SHG members focusing on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act), the SHe-Box Portal, and the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA).<\/p>\n
The programme, as per an official statement, aimed to sensitize participants about workplace safety, grievance redressal mechanisms, and the importance of a drug-free society.<\/p>\n
The officials from the SANKALP-HEW emphasized the importance of creating a safe and respectful working environment and encouraged women to come forward without fear or hesitation. Awareness was generated about the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.<\/p>\n
On the occasion, the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society were discussed in detail. Participants were motivated to pledge their support for a drug-free society and to act as ambassadors of positive change in their communities.<\/p>\n
Pamphlets containing information about SANKALP-HEW were distributed among the participants to reinforce awareness and ensure wider dissemination of information.<\/p>\n
