SAMBA, FEBRUARY 24: In a significant step toward women\u2019s empowerment and livelihood generation, kiosks for Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of Samba district were inaugurated Tuesday at the revered Chichi Mata Temple under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative.<\/p>\n
The kiosks, as per an official statement, were formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan, in the presence of the district officers. The initiative aims to enhance income generation and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for local women associated with Self-Help Groups.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of economic self-reliance among women and reiterated the district administration\u2019s commitment to strengthening women-led enterprises through the government schemes.<\/p>\n
\u00a0She stated that the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative not only focuses on improving the child sex ratio and promoting girls\u2019 education but also aims to ensure long-term empowerment and financial stability for women.<\/p>\n
