Srinagar, Feb 25: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday activated dedicated 24×7 helplines to assist residents of the Union Territory returning from Iran.<\/p>\n
According to an advisory, a copy of which lies with news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the decision follows an advisory released by the Embassy of India in Tehran on February 23, 2026.<\/p>\n
The helplines are aimed at facilitating information-sharing and providing assistance to J&K residents returning from Iran.<\/p>\n
The advisory states that the helplines will remain operational round the clock to ensure necessary support and coordination.<\/p>\n
The helpline numbers issued are Hello J&K: 7303620090 and Control Room: 011-24611108, 011-24611210.<\/p>\n
