BUDGAM, MARCH 14: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan, on Saturday chaired a meeting to review the status of Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision in the district.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the DC, as per an official statement, took a detailed review of the progress regarding printing and distribution of Electoral Rolls (E-Rolls) across various blocks and subdivisions of the district.<\/p>\n
The DC emphasized the importance of timely printing and proper distribution of E-Rolls and directed the concerned officers to ensure that the process is completed within the stipulated timelines.<\/p>\n
He further stressed on maintaining accuracy and reliability of electoral data, instructing officials to carry out thorough verification so that the electoral rolls remain error-free and updated in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.<\/p>\n
The DC also called for close synergy among all election officials at district, subdivision and block levels to ensure smooth and efficient management of the Panchayat electoral roll revision process.<\/p>\n
