Jammu, Mar 18: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have conveyed greetings to the people on the eve of Navreh, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padava and Cheti Chand.<\/p>\n
In a message, the Lieutenant Governor said, \u201cOn the auspicious occasion of Navreh, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padava and Cheti Chand, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all.\u00a0These festivals, observed throughout the nation, herald the dawn of the New Year and embody the profound renewal of faith and hope.\u00a0May these festivals bring prosperity, peace and happiness in everyone’s life and also promote the spirit of oneness and harmony.\u201d<\/p>\n
CM Omar Abdullah, in his\u00a0message, said that Navratri marks the beginning of the New Year and symbolises the triumph of truth, righteousness and virtue over evil.\u00a0\u201cOn this auspicious occasion, I extend my warm wishes to everyone for their success, happiness and well-being,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
