It said gusty winds with speeds of 40\u201350 kmph and hailstorm may occur at a few locations during this period.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn April 19, scattered places are likely to receive a brief spell of light rain or thundershower towards the afternoon, while the weather is expected to remain generally dry from April 20 to April 24,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cAs per the evening data, Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 26.8\u00b0C, which is 6.6\u00b0C above normal, and a minimum of 7.6\u00b0C. Qazigund registered a maximum of 26.3\u00b0C and a minimum of 5.4\u00b0C, while Pahalgam recorded 21.6\u00b0C and 2.8\u00b0C. Kupwara recorded a maximum of 25.2\u00b0C and a minimum of 5.2\u00b0C, and Kokernag reported 23.8\u00b0C and 7.0\u00b0C. Gulmarg recorded a maximum temperature of 17.6\u00b0C, which is 8.1\u00b0C above normal, and a minimum of 3.5\u00b0C. In the Jammu division, Jammu city recorded a maximum temperature of 35.4\u00b0C and a minimum of 17.4\u00b0C. Banihal registered 26.0\u00b0C and 6.8\u00b0C, Batote recorded 26.4\u00b0C and 11.9\u00b0C, while Katra reported 32.2\u00b0C and 17.6\u00b0C. Bhaderwah recorded 25.1\u00b0C and 7.7\u00b0C.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The department said no rainfall was recorded at most stations during the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>An advisory issued by the MeT department said farmers can continue farm operations till April 16.
