Srinagar, Apr 24: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday attached a parcel of land belonging to an accused currently in its custody in connection with a terror-related case registered in Jammu.<\/p>\n
An official told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the action was carried out by an NIA team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Panchkach Agarwal.<\/p>\n
He said the attached property belongs to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, son of Abdul Rashid Parimoo, resident of Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony, Nowgam, Srinagar.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe property comprises 11.5 marlas of land under Survey No. 25, situated at SK Bagh, Budgam,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The official said the accused is presently under NIA custody in connection with a case registered under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act.<\/p>\n
He said the attachment proceedings were conducted in the presence of Naib Tehsildar B.K. Pora and other officials. Further investigation in the case is underway. (KNO)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
