KULGAM, APRIL 25: Under the 100-day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, a mega yoga event was organized at Mini Secretariat, Kulgam, with the objective of promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse, particularly among the youth.<\/p>\n
The programme, as per an official statement, witnessed massive participation, with hundreds of participants including Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, senior officers, officials from various departments, students, and local residents.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being and urged people to continue their support in the fight against drug abuse.<\/p>\n
Emphasizing the significance of fitness and mindfulness, the yoga session served as a powerful demonstration of how meditation and outdoor activities can act as effective tools in combating substance abuse and promoting a disciplined way of life.<\/p>\n
During the session, participants actively engaged in various yoga asanas and awareness activities, with commitment to the message: \u201cSay No to Drugs, Yes to Life.\u201d<\/p>\n
