KISHTWAR, MAY 10: In pursuance with the activities outlined in the National Calendar and under the directions of the J&K Legal Services Authority, the Second National Lok Adalat was organised here by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kishtwar.<\/p>\n
The Lok Adalat,\u00a0as per an official statement,\u00a0took up criminal compoundable cases, matrimonial disputes, matters related to maintenance, civil, recovery, labour, MACT, pre-litigation and other related cases were taken up before four benches constituted for the purpose.<\/p>\n
The first bench comprised Sudhir Kumar Khajuria, Principal District & Sessions Judge and Karan Bijyal, Munsiff\/JMIC. The second bench included Deputy Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Deepika Sharma, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate. The third bench consisted of Meera Bangotra, Secretary DLSA and Jalil Ahmed Waza Deputy Chief LADC. The fourth bench included Mamta Sudershan, ALC, \u00a0\u00a0and Naveed Khurshid Dev, Chief LADC.<\/p>\n
In all, 321 cases were taken up, out of which 264 cases of different nature were amicably settled.<\/p>\n
