{"id":19693,"date":"2026-05-12T18:57:22","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T18:57:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=19693"},"modified":"2026-05-12T18:57:22","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T18:57:22","slug":"alcohol-remarks-misconstrued-govt-not-supporting-it-javed-dar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/05\/12\/alcohol-remarks-misconstrued-govt-not-supporting-it-javed-dar\/","title":{"rendered":"Alcohol remarks misconstrued, Govt not supporting it: Javed Dar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Baramulla, May 12:\u00a0<\/strong>Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmad Dar on Tuesday clarified that the government is not supporting alcohol consumption and said recent remarks on the issue were being misconstrued.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Talking to reporters here, Minister Dar maintained that an alcohol ban is desired in the Union Territory. \u201cThe government\u2019s stand on alcohol remains clear and efforts are underway to address the issue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStatements are being misled. We are not supporting alcohol consumption.
