{"id":20127,"date":"2026-05-17T00:09:42","date_gmt":"2026-05-17T00:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/?p=20127"},"modified":"2026-05-17T00:09:42","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T00:09:42","slug":"15-locations-raided-in-jei-linked-uapa-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kashmirthunder.in\/index.php\/2026\/05\/17\/15-locations-raided-in-jei-linked-uapa-case\/","title":{"rendered":"15 locations raided in JeI linked UAPA case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sopore, May 16:\u00a0<\/strong>Sopore Police on Saturday conducted searches at more than 15 locations across the police district in connection with a case linked to the banned Jamaat e Islami organisation under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.<\/p>\n<p>A Police officer said that the searches were carried out in connection with FIR No. 42\/2025 registered at Police Station Sopore under Sections 10 and 13 of the UAPA Act.<\/p>\n<p>The raids were conducted in several areas including Jamia Qadeem, Naseem Bagh, Krankshivan, Tarzoo, Amargarh, Warpora, Bomai and Boitingoo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSearches were conducted after obtaining warrants from the designated UAPA Court. The operations were carried out in the presence of Executive Magistrates and independent witnesses as per legal procedure,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cDuring the searches, police seized incriminating material, including literature linked to the banned organisation.
