BANDIPORA, JUNE 12: Various educational institutions across district Bandipora on Friday organised awareness walks, rallies and outreach activities under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) as part of the 100-day anti-drug campaign.<\/p>\n
Awareness walks and rallies were conducted by Higher Secondary School Quilmuqam, HSS Nowgam, HSS Chuntimulla, HSS Gadakhud, BHSS Aloosa, PM SHRI GHS Sumbal, Government High School Kanzalwan, Government High School Naidkhai, HS Ketson, HS Koragbal, HS Panar and other institutions to sensitise students and the general public about the harmful effects of substance abuse.<\/p>\n
During the programmes, students and staff members, as per an official statement, participated enthusiastically by carrying placards, banners and posters bearing anti-drug messages and raising slogans promoting a healthy and drug-free society. The rallies were taken through local areas to spread awareness among the public, particularly the youth, regarding the social, physical and mental consequences of drug addiction.<\/p>\n
At HSS Gadakhud, a foot march was organised from the school to Mill Stop under the supervision of the Principal. Students, faculty members and civil society representatives participated in the rally and pledged to strengthen the fight against drug abuse.<\/p>\n
Similarly, awareness rallies and pledge activities held at various institutions focused on encouraging students to stay away from drugs and act as ambassadors of awareness within their communities. Participants reiterated the message of \u201cSay No to Drugs, Yes to Life\u201d through public outreach and awareness campaigns.<\/p>\n
