BANDIPORA, JUNE 29: District Mentor for Bandipora and Member, J&K Special Tribunal, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza and Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib on Monday chaired a review meeting at the Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Bandipora to assess progress of revenue records digitization under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).<\/p>\n
Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani, as per an official statement, briefed the chair through a presentation covering the status of Jamabandi digitization, grievance redressal, Grievance Camps, backlog mutations, JK Zameen Sudhaar portal, Digital Crop Survey, geo-referencing, BhuNaksha, paperless registration, SVAMITVA, AgriStack integration and implementation challenges.<\/p>\n
District Mentor Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza directed officers to complete all pending Jamabandis within the timeline prescribed by the Chief Secretary, address public grievances on priority and ensure review\u00a0 of quasi-judicial cases in a transparent and time-bound manner. He stressed accuracy, transparency and accountability as the cornerstones of the digitization exercise.<\/p>\n
The DC urged field-level revenue functionaries to work with dedication, maintain close coordination and adhere strictly to prescribed timelines so that benefits of digital land records reach citizens without delay.<\/p>\n
An interactive session was also held during which the District Mentor addressed queries of revenue officers on technical and procedural aspects of the programme.<\/p>\n
